Jordyn and Rachel Forever

(Rachel-Blue, Jordyn-Pink)
Good morning! After a long day yesterday, and school starting today I thought I might just post this picture of me and my twin Jordyn, this is us on our first day of Kindergarten. This will be the first time ever we aren't starting school together today. I miss you, I LOVE YOU! Have fun at school today!
Anyways, I know you start school at 7:45-ish, I start at 3, so in spirit we're still together! GOOD LUCK! Senior Year!

  4. DARLING photo, Rachel! You're so sensitive to think of Jordyn and to send her a special shout-out. I have a twin, too, and I know about that twin connection. I'll be thinking about you and praying for you today as you start "school." Go ahead and teach that tumor a thing or two!

  5. Two beautiful little girls and sweet memories for all of us who have watched you grow up to be two even more beautiful young women. You are in our thoughts and prayers today (and every day). Hope everything goes well. Lots of love. Judy Sommerfeldt (I know I'm not your "Grandma Judy" but that is what is on my blog account. And really, can you ever have too many grandmas?!)

  12. I remember your first day of preschool together. Those were joyful days and I am so grateful to have been part of that time of your life [even though I often had a hard time telling you and Jordyn apart]. I grew to love you then; I loved watching you grow and learn from those early childhood experiences. I love you now and we continue to pray for you and your family. We know Heavenly Father is watching over you. He knows of your goodness and faithfulness. He will help you through this, Rachel. You can do hard things but He won't let you do them alone. He is always near. God bless you.

  14. I have a friend who had a similar brain tumor. It was a long road with many twists and turns but through her faith, her inner strength and the love and care of her family and friends, she had a full recovery. I think God has a special purpose for you. Maybe it is to encourage others or maybe it is to push the rest of us to step out of ourselves and try to walk in your hospital socks. I am sure it will reveal itself in time. In the mean time, keep your beads close and your family and friends closer. I have faith in you. May the blessings of the great healer be upon you. Shari B

  16. You guys will be in my prayers!!! There was a 9 year old boy in my brothers class that had brain stem cancer and they couldn't fix it. He passed away 8 months later. Hang in there. And remember... God will always be with you. God bless!!!
