Disneyland!

Last week we went to Disneyland! It was nice to kind of take a breather from all life has to throw at us. It was so fun, and only gets better every time we go! I messed up my Sciatic nerve really bad, so I spent the trip in a wheelchair. But that didn't put a damper on the trip, in fact it made it better! We got through the lines a lot faster. Although I would have liked to have been up and walking around, it was better that I wasn't, cause even though I was in a wheelchair, I was completely worn out by the end of each day. I'm still in bed recovering! But it was worth it.

The best part of the trip was that I got dizzy. I know that sounds bad, but I was dizzy from the rides instead of my cancer!!!!! This shouldn't be a good thing, but for me it was pretty exciting, that the feeling I had was a healthy one, as apposed to a cancerous one.

 Morning before Disneyland!
 Best friends!
Winnie The Pooh Honey Pots are our favorite treats!
Always documenting Diane and I's journey, (without her knowing!;))
 Lovin' Disneyland!
I love Mickey! He was so nice! Even gave me a kiss!
Radiator Springs with a full moon!
Panoramic of California Adventures at night!
All of us in front of the castle, plus a friendly cast member!
 Matterhorn!
 Matterhorn!
 Tower of Terror!
Needless to say, I was pampered on the trip!
 I love the Disney Castle!
 Firework show!

Disneyland was amazing. Now I'm leaving for Memphis tomorrow. I'm really praying and hoping for another good MRI, feel free to join me doing that! I'll need as many prayers as I can get. When people inquire what it is that they can do to help, I tell them pray. Because that's honestly the only thing I can think of for them to do, and that will help me the most. I'm so glad I have so many people in my life there for me. I have realized there are a few people that aren't really there, they're all talk and no show. So I am truly grateful to all of you that are. Thanks! PRAY PRAY PRAY.

Yours truly,

Rach

My Birthday

I'm going to start this off about by telling you something that happened in Memphis that I've never put on my blog. In September when I was on heavy doses of steroids, radiation and chemotherapy all at the same time, it was the hardest time I've ever been through. There were a few times when Diane (and I as well) thought that I was dead.

The reason I'm writing this is because I was terrified. My first thought and reaction when this happened, was that I was never going to make it to my 18th birthday. I don't know why this was what was on my mind, but it was.

Anyways, yesterday, on the 20th of April, I turned 18. I'm so happy I could cry that I made it! I made it, I made it, I made it. So yesterday Jordyn and i went to breakfast. Then for lunch, Jordyn, me, Kylee and Maddie went to lunch. Then later that night we had a BBQ with our extended family, and it was tons of fun!

Jonny Peay brought me and Jordyn flower, biggest sweetheart ever!

Our good friend Madison Mckell!

Some of our crazy Peruvian friends came to sing to us!

Playing with little Alex! Oh and Heather.

BBQ!

Our friend Kylee!

Big "D" loves balloons!

Best friends! Kylee, Maddie, me, and my cousin Ally!

Anyway, it was a really fun day! I'm still just so grateful that I made it to 18! It was a gift from God that I made it, and really such a day to celebrate.

Thanks to everyone that's kind to me, and that continues to pray for me. I really do appreciate it an incredible amount.

Love,

Rach

Oh PS! My next visit to St. Jude's will be on May 1st. So I'll have results after then, and post! Pray my tumor shrunk more! Thanks:)
