The best part of the trip was that I got dizzy. I know that sounds bad, but I was dizzy from the rides instead of my cancer!!!!! This shouldn't be a good thing, but for me it was pretty exciting, that the feeling I had was a healthy one, as apposed to a cancerous one.
Morning before Disneyland!
Best friends!
Winnie The Pooh Honey Pots are our favorite treats!
Always documenting Diane and I's journey, (without her knowing!;))
Lovin' Disneyland!
I love Mickey! He was so nice! Even gave me a kiss!

All of us in front of the castle, plus a friendly cast member!

Needless to say, I was pampered on the trip!
I love the Disney Castle!
Firework show!
Disneyland was amazing. Now I'm leaving for Memphis tomorrow. I'm really praying and hoping for another good MRI, feel free to join me doing that! I'll need as many prayers as I can get. When people inquire what it is that they can do to help, I tell them pray. Because that's honestly the only thing I can think of for them to do, and that will help me the most. I'm so glad I have so many people in my life there for me. I have realized there are a few people that aren't really there, they're all talk and no show. So I am truly grateful to all of you that are. Thanks! PRAY PRAY PRAY.
Yours truly,
Rach
While looking at these pictures, my youngest just asked me, "Is that ours?!" referring to Pam. Yes, that's our Pam. Ha, ha. (: So happy you had a fantastic trip!

ReplyDeleteHi Rachel, I have been following your blog a bit since I saw the article on KSL. About the same time the article was post my 13 year old nephew was diagnosed with the same tumor as you. He has his 2nd MRI this Friday and we are all praying as hard as we can!! I was wondering if you or one of your parents could tell us what study you are doing at St. Jude's. My brother has been looking into every single option out there just in case the MRI doesn't turn out well. I am not sure if you would want to just post it here or email me or even leave a message on the FB page we have set up for Tyler. It is WHATEVER IT TAKES - Tyler Hallsey. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks for sharing your story online. Your story has brought us hope. I have been to happy to hear about your progress and how things have been going for you. We will keep you and your family in our prayers also.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much.
