Radiation Round Two

First of all, August 9th is coming up, and do you know what that means? It means I will have made it to my 1 year cancerversary! Anyways, we are having a party to celebrate, and afterwards are doing the relay for life. To get TEAM RACHEL shirts, follow this link and support cancer awareness!
Feel free to come to the party, and the race afterwards! Let me know if you are interested. You can email me at rachelelysestratton@gmail.com for details!

I know it's been forever since I last blogged, but I'm back on, and that's all that counts! So the most exciting thing that's happened lately is hot air ballooning! The weekend before we went hot air ballooning, my friend George and I went indoor skydiving, it was SO much fun!
Charlotte Lawrence and I were both able to check hot air ballooning off of our bucket list. It was a crazy amount of fun. She has a foundation called Teal's the Deal for Cervical Cancer, which is what she has. She is an incredible person, and I'm so grateful to her for everything she's done for me.
Up up and away!

It's harder than it looks!

It was a lot smoother than I thought it was going to be, but the way down scared me so bad! I thought I was going to die!

The pilot, me and his wife. Very nice people.

A view of the hospital, from the hot air balloon, where I had radiation just a few hours later.

Charlotte and I in the midst of  accomplishing an item off our bucket lists!

Putting the hot air balloon away! It's a lot heavier than it seems.

And OF COURSE, some more watercolors!

One of the amazing supporters I have had during my whole trial, sent me a package recently, and it was one of the sweetest things I have ever gotten. She and her sisters wrote me a really heart felt note, and I want her, her sisters, and all of my other followers and supporters to know how appreciative of them I am.
Thank you I love you guys!

I started radiation two weeks ago, which means I have been to 10/27 treatments, and overall I have been to 40/57. Time really does fly when you're going through radiation. So far i haven't been affected badly by the radiation, just a little fatigue. I will have my 11th treatment tomorrow, and am excited to keep getting closer to finishing.
Marci, me, Gary, and Brooke. Some of the best people out there! In a way they're going through this experience with me and I love them and their attitudes!

I thought it would be fun to put on a few pictures of Jordyn and I as infants! Love her.

Thank you for all your support!
I can do hard things!
Rachel.
