Recent Happenings

Lately, there hasn't been too much going on. I'm back in school, which is good, because I'm starting to feel more like a normal teenager.

I went to preference, pictures are still on there way!

So anyways, KSL did a story on me, if anyone would like to watch it. Here's the link:

After the story, one of representatives asked me to give the prayer at the state capital. Which I did! It was really cool, I've never really been to the state capital. We also were given a tour, I learned lots of things I never knew before!

So there you have it! Nothing really interesting going on as of lately. I do go back to St. Jude on March 6th through the 10th. But this time one of my friends is coming with me, so I'm really excited about that! Hopefully we'll get good news again. Crossing my fingers! And praying. I want more than anything for this tumor to just go away. It's so hard for me to think about, because I've never wanted something so bad in my life, and not be able to do anything about it, besides pray.
I'll probably post after my next trip, maybe before if I feel like being productive. But thanks for being supportive!

Memphis

I can't believe I'm already in memphis. I was in Hawaii less than a week ago! Anyways, today my blood test went ever so perfectly! My GGT is lower than its been a long time! (That's a good thing)
I also had my MRI! I was way scared cause they put me in twice as long as they usually do, after coming in to announce the doctor needed more images of my brain. So obviously I was freaking out. But when we went in to get the results, it was better than I thought it would be!
My tumor has shrunk, thanks to those of you who are praying for me. So thank you so much, you've really convinced God to be on my side. Feel free to continue!

Post-Hawaii

I just barely realized I haven't updated in over a month! Time flies!
Anyways, I've been feeling a lot more normal/Rachel-ish lately. I swear I hardly even get sick anymore!  Which for me has been terrific and such a blessing, and an answer to many of my prayers.  So Christmas was terrific, except I was really sick that night, throwing up, but the morning and afternoon were awesome, and I was so happy it was a white Christmas.
Also we went to Hawaii on the 30th of December and got back the 8th of January from my make-a-wish trip. It was very fun! But also rainy the whole time. So here are a trillion pictures, that I'm sure anyone who is reading is really interested at looking at.
Oh it was also cool, how I felt great the entire time! I know that some of you prayed specifically for me to feel good on my trip-THANKS.    I didn't throw up once! God was sendin some lovins my way! So blessed.

So as you can tell, we had a blast, at the PCC, Paradise Cove Luau, Parasailing, Swimming with dolphins, etc. We even got to see my cousins Barrett and Heather with their kids the last night, we went to cheesecake factory. It was so fun! They have THE cutest kids. 

Tomorrow (Sunday) I'll be flying out to Memphis where I will have an MRI to check the tumor and of course more blood tests. So much plane time! Ah crazy, but at least I'll only be there til Tuesday!
