Memphis

I can't believe I'm already in memphis. I was in Hawaii less than a week ago! Anyways, today my blood test went ever so perfectly! My GGT is lower than its been a long time! (That's a good thing)
I also had my MRI! I was way scared cause they put me in twice as long as they usually do, after coming in to announce the doctor needed more images of my brain. So obviously I was freaking out. But when we went in to get the results, it was better than I thought it would be!
My tumor has shrunk, thanks to those of you who are praying for me. So thank you so much, you've really convinced God to be on my side. Feel free to continue!
Thanks so much, can't wait to get home tomorrow!
Rach!

  13. Dear Rachel,

I saw your story on tonights channel 5 news and I was deeply touched. You are obviously an inspiration to so many people including myself. You sound so positive and optimistic. I sincerely hope that your tumor continues to shrink. My family and I will keep you and your family in our prayers. Your heavenly Father is very much aware of you and what your going through.
Twelve years ago I was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor as well. I underwent Radiation and Chemotherapy up at the Huntsman Cancer Institute after it grew to the size of a grapefruit in 2010 and 2011. I still have mine too but it doesn't seem to affect me much. I tell you that because I know that miracles happen. You sound like you are very strong. I thank you for your strength and fortitude. Keep up the positive attitude. May God be with you. Thanks,
    Jared

  15. Rachel,
I just read your story on KSL and I love seeing the positive attitude that you carry each and every day. I was diagnosed with LEUKEMIA one year ago and the only thing that got me through the whole ordeal was my attitude. Keep up the good work and don't forget to smile every day.

    Best Wishes,

  18. I just saw your story on KSL. I was diagnosed a year ago with an anaplastic astrocytoma grade 3. I had surgery, radiation and currently only have one more round of chemo before my maintenance treatment is finished. I'm sorry that you are dealing with this, but stay strong. Thank goodness for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Knowing that my family is eternal has brought me much peace and comfort. I'm sure you have many blogs to follow, but if you want to follow mine, please do. Take care, Lisa

  19. Rachel, I can do hard things also. I was diagnosed with Lukemia 6 years ago and are scheduled for a bone marrow transplant soon. We just keep movin' on. There are many people praying for me and I will be praying for you. I played in the Stratton Orchards as a kid way back in the 1970's when my Uncle Chuck (Charles Anderson) was the manager there! Great memories!
